Overview

LEGO Technic set 42232 recreates the Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear, a rare, track-focused megacar of which only a handful exist in the real world, as a highly detailed 1:8 scale display model for adult builders. As the sixth entry in LEGO's Ultimate Car Concept series, it follows the same engineering-first approach as its predecessors, translating a genuine hypercar's mechanics into thousands of interlocking Technic pieces.

The build recreates a functioning V8 piston engine, triplex front and rear suspension, and a working 9-speed transmission that can be explored once assembled. Lifting the rear clamshell activates the set's signature Ghost Mode, triggering the doors and front hood to swing open and the side mirrors to fold in a single, synchronised motion – a centrepiece moment that has made this Technic line famous among collectors.
